9 Month Update

Livi is developing a fierce personality. Sweet as sugar, but sooooo strong-willed. You better give that girl what she wants or you will hear about it! So funny how two kids can be so completely different yet you still see so much of yourself in each of them. I can already tell that she is not going to be as sensitive as "the other one". She is my toughie.

She is not so interested in crawling. She is fully capable, but likes to find out how to get what she wants while doing the least amount of work possible. So if something is in front of her that she wants, she is most likely to crawl a few steps and then throw her body onto the ground and stretch her arms out, wiggling those little fingers until they can finally grasp onto it. Almost seems like more work to me. At the same time, she completely prefers to be in a standing position and can stand pretty well with some support. I think she may just be more interested in walking than crawling.

She is doing really well with food. Eating finger foods and digesting them too! She loves to laugh and is experimenting with different sounds. She can say "mama", "dada", and will wave & sorta say "hiiiiiiii".

Crawling & Some Daddy Love

I recommend not putting mustard and/or ketchup and her in the same room as me. It's for her own safety. I really could just eat her up.

!!!!!!!!

Sooo I go upstairs to say goodnight to Liam and Chris tells me they are on their first book.
Me: What took you so long with the first book?
Chris: Well, Liam was showing me how he draws his L's.
Me: What?
Chris: He was making L's and then he asked me how to draw an A. I just figured he has been doing this for a while.
Me: Uhhhhh, nooooo.
Chris: Liam show Mommy your paper with your letters.
Me: *freaking out* What!?!?!? YOU did this?
Liam: *grinning from ear to ear* yup

And then he proceeds to show me how he makes an L, I & A and I show him how to make an M. We still need to work on the M, but HELLO!!!!!!!

It's Coming

So the party planning begins. Since Liam is so into dressing up and pretending, I thought it would be great to throw him a Superhero party. I have a lot of work to do because (as usual) I am going overboard on the DIY projects. I just have such a hard time spending money on things I can do myself. I would really love to explain everything I have planned, but that would ruin all the surprises. Let's just say I will be spending every night until the day of, cutting, painting, gluing, etc....

P.S. When Liam saw the invitation for the first time, he said "I wanna do that now. I wanna fly." I love how kids think everything is possible.
