My Lovies

I know I am going a bit crazy with this post. 12 pics is a lot more than I usually put up, but hello! My friend Jordanna made me very happy by capturing the "essence" of these two and how they interact. These photos make me happier than you know.

Awesome Things Liam Says

Liam: Daddy, whats that?
Daddy: That is a picture of mommy and daddy in England.
Liam: What England do?
Daddy: It's a place. You should ask mommy if we could go.
Liam: Mommy will say no.
*Apparently I'm a killjoy*

5 Month Update

Weighing 16 pounds and 14 ounces and measuring at 26.25 inches long, Livi continues to be in the 90th percentile for weight and length. She is a practically perfect baby that whines only when she is hungry or tired. She is playing more and more with her toys, but her favorite thing to play with is her feet! I can no longer put her in pajamas without footsies because she grabs her socks and pulls them off in the middle of the night. And then I worry that she will suffer from hypothermia (dramatic much?).

She has lost the majority of her hair due to stupid cradle crap. I hate cradle cap and I want it to die a long, slow death. I want it to be excommunicated from society- never to return. But I digress...

She can roll over both ways now. She has her two front teeth in. And she absolutely will not cuddle. Her head is always held high, no matter how many different positions I put her in. She is still spitting up alot, but since it doesn't seem to be painful the doctor says no medicine is necessary. We just have to wait until she grows out of it.

Swimming Lessons

So remember how I said Liam was not really big on going into the water? I felt like he was missing out on alot of fun because of it and also wanted the assurance that he would know what to do if God forbid he ever fell into a pool and we couldn't get to him in time. Enter Suzanne from Edge Aquatics. For anyone interested in getting swimming lessons for their kids in South Florida, I highly recommend Edge Aquatics. They come to you and they are super affordable.

This kid went from kicking and screaming when I dropped him off to giving high-fives, floating and (*gasp*) going under water. On the fifth and final day, he left me with a smile on his face and was excited to get in the water. Suzanne says he will be swimming in no time and I am sooooooo proud of him.

PS- Please excuse the stupid, black bars in these pictures. I had to be out of sight for the whole lesson thing to work so I was hiding out in our clubhouse which for some reason has bars on the outside.
